ATEM is a specialized bio-pharma Contract Research Organization (CRO) providing cryo-electron-microscopy-based services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. Our platform integrates highly optimized biochemistry, hardware and software to deliver structural insights into challenging drug targets at commercial scale. We aim to be the leading CRO in our field on turnaround time and customer convenience.
This role is to market and sell two of our core services — Lipid-Nanoparticle (LNP) Characterization and 3D Epitope Mapping — to bio-pharma customers. What you will do
- Proactively manage and develop potential sales leads from first contact through to signed contract.
- Maintain and develop our CRM, keeping customer records and sales activity accurate and up to date, and identify the next best action to engage each client.
- Source new leads actively, including targeted outreach on LinkedIn and at conferences (attendee research, outreach, scheduling and follow-up).
- Translate a client's situation into their underlying scientific pain points and connect those to the right ATEM service.
- Build compelling, use-case-driven presentations and client-facing material, and present them confidently.
- Support our marketing team as their sparring partner on the scientific review of materials, and channel client questions into ideas for new content.
- Handle the sales-administration process — from quotation to ensuring document completeness — as requests convert into signed deals.
- Share observed customer trends and needs with the founders to help shape positioning, improve the product and increase customer satisfaction.
